Great day hosting year 4 students and teachers from Idrissi International School Setia Alam to our partner factory, Life Line Clothing Malaysia (LLCM) and Upcycle 4 Better
This is a Zero Waste Heroes Sustainability Programme by ZWES @zerowasteearthstore to let our community and members to participate in sustainability event, tour and workshop.
Idrissi International School is Malaysia’s first Eco-Islamic school that offers International curriculum infused with life and environmental values for children
The program started with safety briefing by LLCM, then continue with tote bag upcycling workshop from the fabric collected by ZWES. The tote bag upcycling workshop is conducted by Dr Janira Kumari from Zero Waste Earth Store (ZWES)
While, the students are divided into 5 groups for a tour to see on what happened to the fabrics collected from the bin around Klang Valley, Malacca, Johor and Singapore
After the lunch at Best Bundle, they have a great fun at the playground and bouncy castle The day ended with quiz and appreciation gift to Idrissi and LLCM Thank you to all who have involved in today event
